Our names are Dayna Hewitt(Desta) and Beth Grohowski (Bellawood). We combined our years of doberman experience and began a collaboration of our breeding programs because we shared a similar vision of the type of Doberman we wished to own, show, enjoy, and reproduce. Now breeding under the DESTA kennel name, that partnership has produced multiple champions in the U.S., a Canadian champion, a DEA dog, therapy dogs, pilot dogs (service dogs for the blind), obedience champions and genuine couch potatoes! We have made it our goal to produce beautiful dobermans with good health and longevity, with brains, stamina, and wonderful temperaments. Dobermans intelligent and strong enough for working and gentle enough for families with children.
On the following pages, you will have an opportunity to view our adult dogs, dogs we have shown and are planning to show. From here you can view puppies, both past and present, and get information on upcoming litters. There is a link for information about each of our kennels, both located in Gloucester, Virginia.
